Does my dog need to be out of the yard during cleanup?
Yes, it’s preferred for quicker service. Friendly, non-jumping dogs are okay if pre-approved by the technician.
Yard Access
We will not enter your home to access the yard. This is non-negotiable for safety reasons.
Sanitizer
Sanitizer is used only when the temperature is above +15°C.
Do I need to provide supplies?
No, we bring all necessary supplies.
Do you remove the waste?
Yes, all waste is properly disposed of off-site.
What areas do you service?
Edmonton, Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Beaumont, and Leduc.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, cheque, E-transfer, and credit card. NSF cheques incur a $50 fee.
When is my invoice due?
Payment is due upon receipt unless other arrangements are made.
Are there late fees?
Yes, after a 5-day grace period, late payments incur a $1/day fee, plus 2% monthly interest. Accounts over 60 days delinquent will have services suspended; accounts over 90 days will be sent to collections with a $50 service fee.
Does weather affect service?
We operate year-round but may cancel if snowfall exceeds 3 inches in 24 hours or 5 inches in 48 hours, or if temperatures drop below -36°C. Service resumes the following visit.
Are there areas you won’t work in?
Yes, we do not work under decks, trampolines, or other inaccessible areas.
Health Concerns
Dog waste can transmit diseases like roundworms, hookworms, salmonella, giardia, and E. coli. To reduce risks, we offer Professional Grade Sanitizer upon request for added safety.

K9 Cleanup Inc. (K9CU) Service Agreement
By accepting, using, or paying for K9CU services, you agree to the following:
Standards: K9CU will provide reliable, trustworthy service. Clients waive all claims against K9CU unless arising from gross negligence.
Aggressive Animals: Services cannot proceed if aggressive animals are present. Full charges apply if access is blocked.
Access: Gates must be accessible and clear. Locked gates require a provided entry method. No house access permitted.
Winter Services: Services may be canceled during heavy snow or extreme cold. Maintain a clear path for technicians.
Waste Disposal: Waste is removed and disposed of per regulations. A $5/month disposal fee applies.
Water Access: Outdoor water access may be needed for sanitization in temperatures above 15°C.
Appointments: Specific time requests are not guaranteed.
Locks: Clients are responsible for providing gate access methods (e.g., codes).
Hours: Services are performed Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Termination: K9CU may terminate service for safety, financial, or other concerns.
Vacations: Notify K9CU of vacations. If waste accumulates, a 1.5x weekly fee applies.
Holidays/Weather: Services may be postponed due to holidays or unsafe weather.
Service Interruptions: K9CU will attempt to notify clients of schedule changes.
Payments: Payments are due upon invoice receipt. Late fees of $1/day and 2% monthly interest apply after a 5-day grace period. Accounts delinquent over 60 days incur additional fees and may be sent to collections.
Cancellations: Provide 24 hours’ notice to avoid charges. Last-minute cancellations for initial cleanups incur a $35 fee.
Guarantee: Contact K9CU within 24 hours for service corrections.
Lawn Maintenance: Ensure lawn conditions allow waste to be located and removed. Poor conditions may result in service refusal.
Updates: Service updates and reminders are sent via email or text.
Additional Dogs: Notify K9CU of additional dogs or visiting pets. A $2.50/week fee applies for unreported animals.
Consumer Reviews: Inappropriate or false reviews will be addressed legally.
Pricing: Pricing and availability are subject to change.
Indemnification: Clients indemnify K9CU against claims from breaches of terms.
Liability: K9CU is not liable for losses arising from service use.
Dispute Resolution: Alberta laws govern disputes, resolved in Alberta courts.
Privacy: Client information is private and used internally. Payment details are secure via Intuit QuickBooks.
